Crossings: A Portrait of the Chinese Community of Moose Jaw

Crossings: A Portrait of the Chinese Community of Moose Jaw

Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery 2009

Chinese immigrants made a unique contribution to life on the Prairies and played a significant role in the history of Moose Jaw and district. On the occasion of Saskatchewan’s Centennial, this Community Stories exhibit celebrates the many remarkable lives in Moose Jaw’s Chinese community: generations who settled in this city, left and then returned, drawn home by the sense that this community is a “really special place for the Chinese.”
