At 20 years old, Édith B. Pinet was living her dream: she was enrolled in the nursing program in St-Jean d’Iberville, Quebec, to obtain her nursing certificate. Her role as a midwife was one of her main occupations. Her smile, her availability, her gentleness and her understanding comforted many sick people.

She was awarded many medals. Her greatest contribution was in the field of health. Édith B. Pinet helped deliver more than 3,000 children. Touching the lives of many people and families, these interviews and the images they provide recount the life of this important woman.
