The story that follows is about a historical home, called Greenwood, and its past. It also tells us about the life of Phoebe Nobbs Hyde, the last of five generations to live there. Actor by profession, and fascinated by the drama of history and the power of memory, it was her wish that the historical character of Greenwood be maintained and the property be shared with the surrounding community and everyone interested in our history. Her remarkable gift led to the establishment of the Greenwood Centre for Living History in Hudson, Quebec.
