INTERVIEWER:
What was your grandmother Bourchier like?
A.B. ANDERSON:
She was quite a worker. She [adored?] her grandchildren. She always made a cake, and she put 12 eggs in this cake and sat on the veranda and beat the eggs up with a fork, and we all got a cake. And she always wore a cap, and she had a little basket, and she'd wear a regular bonnet up to Ainslie Hill, if she came up for lunch, and she'd go up and take off her bonnet and take her little lace cap out of this basket and put it on. But I never saw her without a hat.
