At the fire hall, automatically, as soon as you set foot in the fire hall on a shift, all the firefighters have to be wearing a suit – the blue uniform I’m wearing now. You don’t necessarily have to wear a tie, since, well, it’s just us. But when we’re attending events that are a bit more formal, it’s definitely always preferable to wear a tie. Then when it comes to other equipment… I mean items in our uniform, we can also have a baseball cap. In the summer we wear T-shirts. And in the winter, we have a coat too, which is always blue, of course. And every part of the uniform is identified by the department insignia too.
