Also… last Winter. I was approached by some friends. Two, in fact, in different ways, on different days. The first one said, “Hey, Maxime, it would be fun if you’d help out with the project. They’re looking for volunteers and they’re asking for… carpenters, tradespeople.” I do that kind of work too. I’m a carpenter. As well as being a full-time firefighter. Hmmm… So, at the beginning, I’d just got back after being off on sick leave. I had a little time and I didn’t have too many ongoing contracts. I was hesitant but at the same time, it kept nagging at me too. And then in the same week, another one of my friends mentioned the project to me. “Hey! They’re looking for volunteers.” And I said to myself, “That’s twice people have told me about it, it’s a sign. I… I’ll do it.” I got in touch with the contractor. And I was thinking about getting the whole Department… the Fire Department in on the act. I said, “It would be fun if everyone got involved and we could provide all that labour. And while we’re at it, why not bring the Police Department in too, we’ll get as many people as possible involved.” So, just by word of mouth, Dispatch… joined us. So, in the end, we all got together… We all got involved in the project.
