Saint-Eustache Street after the fire of 1910

The Saint-Eustache Street was completely devastated after the fire on April 17, 1910. Barely a few hours after the first flames from Maggiore Légaré’s barn had spread, the Presbyterian church of the municipality (now Le Centre La Petite église), the building which served as a prison for the patriots of 1837-1838 and a dozen houses and buildings located on Saint-Eustache Street are reduced to ashes by the flames.
