At the Heart of the Saint-Eustache Community
The Robillard-Cadorette family’s experience with firefighter Maxime Dion was wonderful. Overwhelmed by the challenges of everyday life, Chantal Cadorette and Claude Robillard were unable to complete repairs on their house for their ten adopted children. Chantal and Claude have chosen to devote their lives to helping children who have experienced poverty and misfortune. Some of their children also have special needs. Their eldest daughter, Anne-Marie, persuaded them to sign up for the TV show On efface et on recommence hosted by Chantal Lacroix.

In January 2018, the Robillard-Cadorette family rented a house in Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac for seven months while the team from the television program renovated their home. Saint-Eustache firefighter Maxime Dion heard about the project and decided to help out as a volunteer. Maxime also brought in his colleagues from the Saint-Eustache Fire Safety Department, members of the Municipal Police Department and many retired police officers and firefighters.
