Aurora Blue Ribbon Baseball Team in Town Park, 1933

Aurora Museum & Archives (2001.22.2)
While the softball diamond in Town Park’s south west corner still remains the hardball diamond, between the Armoury and the Band Shell, was removed about fifty years ago.
In this picture of the 1933 Blue Ribbon Baseball Team the old scoreboard can be seen attached to the back of the Armoury and the chalk lines of the hardball diamond are visible on the grass.
