The Cultural Precinct – Concept Plan, 2015

As the Town of Aurora continues to expand, the role and purpose of the Town’s most historic areas are up for debate. Town Park is not exempt from these discussions and was featured prominently in a study that examined the park in context with the larger three block area surrounding it known as the Cultural Precinct. The area as a whole contains over 50 public and private buildings on the Town of Aurora’s register of Properties of Cultural Heritage.
