Sir Wilfred Laurier visited Aurora on September 5th 1893 for a Liberal Procession and Picnic that began in Town Park.
In the days before the event, the local newspaper published a schedule detailing how residents of surrounding communities could join the procession and be part of the welcoming crowd.
