The Flagpole Incident

It was the talk of the Town when a local teenager decided to test the strength of their sports car by attaching it to the new flagpole in Town Park.

The following year a new pole was erected in Town Park and the damaged one was given to the Aurora War Memorial Committee to repair and install at the War Memorial.
