People of all ages looked forward to the annual Lions Club Victoria Day celebrations held in Town Park. The celebration was known for its mammoth display of fireworks.

In this image a couple of ‘neck cranners’ are staring up at the sky to watch the colourful blasts- the Band Shell can be seen in the background.
