Ashton Station

On the night of the Almonte Train Wreck, people gathered at Ashton Station to catch the Ottawa Valley Local. Even with the waiting room open, it was as cold in the station as it was outside, the woodstove having not being lit. Passengers never arrived much earlier than the train, so there was usually no need.
