Silver Chalice and Paten

Silver communion plate used to serve bread; and silver chalice used to serve communion wine.

In 1838 Mrs. Stafford Kirkpatrick, a sister of Mrs. James Wallis presented a beautiful communion service to the newly organized small log church at Fenelon Falls. The Holy Chalice and Paten (used at communion for Eucharist and wine) are still in use at each Eucharist, and are treasured possessions of St. James the Apostle.
