St. James has several hymnals, bibles, Sunday school records and altar books in its collections going back to the original church of 1836.

There is also a large leather bound bible. The leather is inscribed with the words “Holy Bible” tooled into the leather and print is in gold colour. Copyright for the bible is dated 1890. The bible is in good condition.
