Dining Chair from Blythe Farm
Photo: Peter Oliver Permission to photograph was given by the Fenelon Museum Management Board.
The dining chair is located at the Fenelon Museum. The chair was received from Blythe Farm house before it was demolished. The chair is most likely oak but is now painted black. The chair has a slanted back, which is similar to French-Canadian chairs found in nineteenth century homes. You can see from the Anne Langton’s sketches that the chair was indeed in the room when these sketches were made.
