Observatory attracted scientists as well as the public
The Observatory was a draw for scientists as well as the public. In June 1920, the American Association for the Advancement of Science held a meeting in Seattle. The astronomical section of the Association made a special trip to Victoria after the main meeting to hold their deliberations.
