Interviewer: You worked with the same crowd. So now you don’t have any regrets about starting off working with them
Wilson: Oh No
Interviewer..made you a better person and helped you out. I suppose you got the skill there
Wilson: Oh No. Well there was nothing else to do. Wherever I went I knew what it was like to work in the lumberwoods and how hard you had to work to make your money there.
Interviewer: Had to make it somewhere
So what did you buy out of your money now, if you were a young fellow now.
Usually…my mother and father were getting old and I was living with them. They were getting something from the government, not very much. Now that was going into… I minds about when my father got the first old age pension he got a thirty dollar cheque, well boy he had some money, but now that thirty dollar cheque was for three months, ten dollars a month.
