Willis Otis Stark and his brother John Edmond Stark, in a professional portrait taken at the Elite Studio in Nanaimo, B.C. John Edmond made his living by prospecting and mining in Northern B.C., while Willis Otis lived his entire life on Salt Spring Island. The brothers were both involved in writing letters to an inquest after the mysterious death of their father, Louis Stark.
