A Blasting Timer

A blasting time - on either side of the device are brackets for clamping the lid down.

This photograph depicts a blasting timer used by Stelco around the mid to late twentieth century. The device has detailed instructions attached to its open lid and several switches inside. The instructions include setting up the timer, selecting the firing interval, firing a blast, and maintenance instructions. On either side of the device are brackets for clamping the lid down.
