Text Transcript: Bingo Hauser has been bringing the midway to the Alberni District Fall Fair for 45 years, and says he wouldn’t miss it. Pages 3,4,6 & 7
One of the earlier Ferris wheels belonging to West Coast Amusements, part of the transition from fur to iron.
Not many people are around at this midway, showing the demise of one era and the dawn of a new era.
Bingo expanded his animal show to more than just the lion, but Simba always remained the star.
Here is Jackie as a bally for the Jungle Compound animal menagerie that she and Bingo ran together.
Bingo seemed drawn towards the animals, he likely was carrying the monkey around as part of a bally act to draw crowds.
