Solomon Kendall of the Guides and Pioneers

This 1785 document lists the names of members of the Guides and Pioneers along with number of dependents. The Guides and Pioneers was a unique corps of Loyalist soldiers, raised in December 1776 at New York City. They were led by Colonel Beverley Robinson, who later settled in Nashwaaksis.
