I Wouldn’t Change a Lot in My Life

[When her son took her to Ottawa to see Barack Obama] I said to John, can you imagine this… I’m from the horse and buggy days, I’m in a jet, [and] I’m going to Ottawa… to hear the first Black President of the United States. So, I think I’ve arrived! I think probably one thing I’ve learned… education is so important. Just keep taking courses, you never know where it’s going to take you, because life changes, and [education] gives you opportunities.
