100m Butterfly Race
A group of male swimmers competing in the 100m butterfly as they race to the finish.
(sounds of water splashing, cheers and applause)
Michael Mealiffe in lane 6 is the first to finish. He stands and removes his bathing cap.
WH2O team members in the bleachers stand and cheer, raising their fists in the air and jumping up and down. The crowd begins to chant, “WH2O, WH2O”.
Mealiffe’s WH2O team member and fellow competitor, Phil Hayman, dives over the lane 4 rope and swims towards Michael, embracing him. The two fall back into the water. He pats Mealiffe on the back as they move to exit the pool.
50m Butterfly Medal Presentation
Announcer: “Chris” (surname unintelligible)

A man wearing a white t-shirt walks past the camera.

Announcer: “…and Michael Mealifee who is now the new world record holder in the 50m butterfly.
Mealiffe and a team member, both wearing their team uniforms and medals from previous events, walk past the camera as other athletes congratulate them from the sidelines.
(cheers and applause)
Mealiffe raises his arms and waves to the crowd as he awaits the gold medal presentation. An Official places it around Mealiffe’s neck and shakes his hand.
