In 1980, the Fermières de Saint-Eustache celebrated their 60th anniversary. To mark the occasion, they organized a party at the Constantin Sugar Shack. The president, Madame Régine Boivin, highlighted the contribution made by all the women who had managed the Cercle and its activities so effectively. She expressed her belief that through the Cercle “[…] women of exceptional value come alive.” We also learn that four Fermières had been members for more than 40 years, and five for more than 30 years. Which goes to show the extent to which the Fermières are  committed..
