Mom is really resourceful, full of ideas, and I take after her a bit, and my grandmother too… It was a great opportunity for her to empower herself too, because… She didn’t necessarily work outside the home like other women. She worked a little, but not as much as women do these days. And it was a way for her to show what she knew how to do and… also to learn from the ladies. So, it’s uh… I think it’s a big plus in her life. And she’s still involved today, even though she’s nearly 80… It keeps her… like, up to date, it keeps her abreast of what’s happening in the world today, you know.
