This cart made by placing a wicker basket on a cart; it was the perfect cart to ride around the cemetery.

It is difficult for us to realize how important horses were to everyone in the early 1900s — a good deal of daily activities concerned horses. The harnesses were carefully maintained, brass rings would be polished and leather cleaned with saddle soap.- Brian Treggett
