Ice storm in 1998, Saint-Polycarpe Catholic church

During this natural disaster that affected thousands of families, churches rapidly transformed into emergency shelters to host those in need. The Saint-Polycarpe church was open night and day for many weeks. Tracked vehicles from the Canadian Army are parked in front of the church for emergency transportation.
