Interior of St. James Anglican church, Hudson, 2003

The church interior, although rich and refined, remains true to the spirit of Anglican doctrines. The sparseness of the interior walls emphasizes the woodwork, stained glass windows and pews. The consistency and simplicity of the building, from the nave to the sanctuary, complement the whole atmosphere which remains sober. In this space, the sanctuary of the church is narrower than the nave.
