The Sainte-Justine-de-Newton church, opened in 1866, was built by contractor and artisan François Archambault (1839-1909) from plans designed by architect Victor Bourgeau (1809-1888). François Archambault also did the interior decoration. This one is complete by a large number of religious plaster statues made by various statuary Montreal workshops of that time.
