Considered as a historic jewel by the community, the church regularly undergoes cleaning and restauration work. The last major renovation was held in 2016 as the entire sanctuary was cleaned and restored with gold leaf and the floor was restored to its original state.
Restoration specialist Violette Hannon worked on restoring the pews of the church in 2011.
