The Sainte-Jeanne-de-Chantal Catholic church is the oldest church in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges area. Built in 1773-1774 by contractor Basile Proux (1730-1808), it is a typical example of churches built in rural settings in the 18tth century. Its main extension was done in 1812 by Joseph Lalonde by adding transepts and a vestry. Over the years, it has overgone many renovations all while conserving its original characteristics. In 1848, a square chapel was added next to the vestry. In 1901, the stone facade and steeple were redone after having sustained damage from strong winds. More recently in 2016, restauration work has been done to remove the rough plaster and to update the original stone walls.
