Batzer Hut Construction 7

After three years of exploring and testing designs, the BCMC completed the build of the Batzer Hut in August 1965. The location for the Hut was voted on by the membership and they chose the Chilliwack Valley because of its proximity to the Lower Mainland. The large pole installed at the far-end of the hut was put in place so the hut could be located if buried in snow.
