The Hut Structure has been built and UBC-VOC members are working on painting the front end-wall a bright red colour. Other members are busy working out front in the sunshine and bare mountain peaks can be seen off in the distance.
The Hut has been erected and the painting has begun on the exterior wall. A man wearing blue shorts and a grey shirt is staining the floor near the open front door. Three other members stand out front of the hut in various poses. Backpacks lie on the green grass to the left of the Hut and another man is sitting behind the three standing members wearing a maroon shirt and blue jeans.
The foundations have been built and several pieces of the floor stretch across the width above the rocky ground below. Two men hold up the first wooden arch, another sits in the middle of the arch while another group work to attach the arch to the foundation.
The arch frame sits off the ground supported by two other pieces of wood. Two men are hunched over working on pieces of the arch on the left hand side. Other lumber sits stacked neatly behind next to a house.
The large club cabin sits framed with roofing shingles completed on the right hand side of the roof. Plastic sheeting covers the other have of the roof and bare frame
Several members work at construction, raising a large wooden floor joist and maneuvering it into position.
