Wedgemount Lake Location Part 1 (audio)

The turquoise water reflects against a glimmer of sunlight. Behind lies the dark brown rocky banks and the tip of the glacier rises up towards the bare rocky peak and the grey clouds.

Werner Himmelsbach recalled, “First we build this one hut in the Chilliwack area and then when Whistler started up and then we had the idea of building one in Singing Pass or Russet Lake. Then we had the idea to go into Mount Trorrey but which is now the Spearhead Traverse. But after we built that hut, we put a note in a mountaineering paper and a few leaflets and there use to be a logging camp up here.”
