This launch belonged to C.H.J. Snider, seated to the viewers left. Snider was the author of a long-running column (1935-1956) which appeared in the Toronto Evening Telegram under the title “Schooner Days”.
His source was the sailing community around the Great Lakes and one can imagine him picking up a good yarn or two !
