Cobourg Trailer Park

While the history of camping on Cobourg beach goes back to at least 1825, the origins of the current trailer park seem somewhat more vague, people reportedly having camped there for forty years or more.

The current Parks Master Plan for Cobourg states that “in the long term, consideration should be given to transforming the Trailer Park into a more multi-functional waterfront park space with a more diverse user group.”  This suggestion has not been well received by many current users!
