Captaining two vessels at a time on Lake Ontario, Capt Dan Rooney made double wages!  The routes are set out on this map.  Though our records don’t set out the last two steps, 7 and 8,  they are presumed as necessary to get the Luff back to Kingston and Captain back to Cobourg, in order to start all over again.
