Search and Rescue: Coast Guard

The Cobourg coast guard station averages about 40 calls a year for assistance and emergencies on the lake. There are two crews of four which rotate on a 14-day schedule. When a crew is at the station they work eight hours a day and are on stand-by for the remaining 16 hours.
