Trapper’s Sign
Video recording conducted by Sam Waller Museum staff Sharain Jones.
[VIDEO TEXT] We’re here at the Visitor Information Centre and the Trapper’s sign is a new version of an older version of a sign that our local Rotary Club was responsible for providing assistance and funding for it. The other billboard at the top, there’s the Rotary logo advertising their annual Bill Bannock Fishing Derby; there’s good attendance at that. We have the side of the local Métis Hall which was originally the Elks Hall that they had built for their purposes for meetings, that holds bingos and other community events. We’ll see this building a little closer later.
