The Cradle Club’s supper dance marked the official opening of the roof garden at the King Edward Hotel for the summer. This ticket notes that the event featured “Luigi Romanelli and His King Edward Hotel Orchestra” and there will be dancing from 10:30 – 1:30.
The society pages noted that Cradle Club President, Peggy Beal received guests. More importantly, it was revealed that she wore a “frock of honey-gold point d’esprit” (a type of tulle or net-like fabric with a repeated pattern).
