The Mont Ste-Marie under construction

This black and white photograph shows a schooner under construction. The ship appears to be almost finished. There is wooden scaffolding all around the structure. A few men—tiny in the photograph—are busy working on the ship. In front of the ship, a man is standing in the tall grass observing the scene.
