Main Street of Beiseker, 1909

Main Street Beiseker. Wide dirt road with sundry businesses on each side, horses and buggies hitched outside. Right side includes the King George hotel and telephone poles. The street leads to the train station.

By 1921, the village of Beiseker boasted 78 businesses and residents. Enough to form a town council, collect taxes and hire the first policeman 1922. By 1925, there were 15 schools in the district.
