Completed Galt, 1914

Collection of the Canadian Automotive Museum
The original Galt Gas-Electric, as it appeared in 1914. The vehicle’s body was almost identical to the 1913 Canadian Motors Limited Galt, itself a copy of the U.S. Alpena motor car. The CML Galt enterprise had collapsed suddenly, leaving inventors Fleming and St. Clair with plenty of spare parts to work with.
