No Gas, Oregon, 1973

During the 1973 oil crisis it became common to see gas stations across North America selling anything but gas, like this one in Oregon. While Canadian oil and gasoline supplies were less directly hurt due to local production in Alberta, the economic and social effects of the oil crisis were massive.
