The Westinghouse Markette, demonstrated in Canada at the 1967 Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto. The company admitted that the vehicle was a “transitional” car, intended to pave the way for other, more advanced designs that could “solve the auto-caused air-pollution problem.” Fewer than 500 Markettes were ever built or sold.
