Marci Csumrik – Fondest Memory
What are your fondest memories of growing up in Orillia?
I was born in Toronto in 1958 and we moved here in ’63. My fondest memories are just how easy it was living on Neywash Street.
I went to Central School so I had perfect attendance, because how can you ever miss school when you live right around the corner. Within walking distance the YMCA, the proximity, the camaraderie of the people. My parents had a wonderful group of friends that were very social and kind, and it’s just a sense of community.
