Don Station was moved to Todmorden Mills Heritage Site in 1969, but it was largely removed from its original purpose. At times, it was used for storage. When it was moved to the museum in 2008, it came back to its railway heritage roots. The museum now sells miniature train tickets from the station, not unlike its original purpose.
