Lil Hansen’s family home was destroyed by the Silver Creek Fire. Her mother-in-law’s mobile home was on the same property, but was not consumed. Her cat survived!

Lil Hansen lost her home and all its contents. She said her biggest loss was her albums of family photos. More than 15 years later she, very generously, has shared her story. What she knew all along though, was that family was her most important “possession.”
